Privacy Policy
In short
This Survival Log wiki is a static information site. It does not require an account, does not sell personal data, and collects only what is necessary to operate and understand traffic. You can read every page without providing any personal information.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Standard web-server records including IP address, browser user agent, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These are used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing errors, and are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
- Analytics. Aggregate measurements such as page views, approximate country and device type, used to understand which pages are useful. Analytics data is not used to identify individuals.
- Messages you send. If you contact us with a correction, we hold the message and any attachment for as long as needed to act on it.
We do not operate user accounts, comment systems or newsletters, so there is no stored password, profile or subscriber list.
Cookies
The site's own pages set no advertising or tracking cookies. Where an analytics provider or a content delivery network is used, it may set cookies or similar identifiers necessary for its own operation. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads; Google's own privacy terms apply to that request.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings without losing access to any content on this Survival Log wiki, since nothing here depends on them.
Third parties
This site links to external services including Steam and the game publisher's website. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them. External links open in a new tab and are marked as external.
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Because this site collects so little, in most cases the only data associated with a visitor is a server log entry. Requests can be made through the contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the last-updated date at the top of this page will change with it. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
